To track your API activity, go to the Usage page.
It includes successful requests sent with your default and additional tokens. Requests sent with the Sandbox token are not included, and failed requests are listed separately on the Errors page. Learn more in the Errors guide↗.
1. Tracking API Usage
The Usage Stats chart at the top of the page shows your daily API activity for the selected period.
In the Usage view, it shows the number of successful requests per day. To switch between the Usage and Expenses views, use the drop-down list in the top-right corner of the chart. The total for the selected period is displayed below the chart.
The date range field at the top of the page sets the period for the whole page, including the chart and the Task Lookup table. To change the period, press the field and select a preset, or set custom start and end dates, then press Apply.
2. Reviewing Requests
Each successful request you send is recorded in the Task Lookup table below the chart, where a request is called a task. For each task, the table shows its ID, endpoint, start and completion time, turnaround time, and result.
The task ID is also returned in the task_id field of the API response. Use it to match a request in your application logs with a row in the table.
2.1. Working with the Table
You can:
- Filter the table by any column using the filter icon next to its name.
- Show or hide columns with Column Chooser.
- Download the table in CSV or XLSX format with Export.
The table also supports pagination.
Each row in the table can be expanded to show more details: the completion time, internal status code, endpoint, and status message. To expand a row, press it.
For the full list of status codes and messages, see the API Errors & Status Codes guide↗.
Note that times are shown in your profile time zone. If it differs from your browser time zone, an asterisk appears next to the time. You can change the time zone in Preferences↗.
