Referral Policy
Introduction
The following Referral Policy (“Policy”) governs the FinImpulse referral program available to registered users of the Service. The Service is owned and operated by Veselka Technologies FZCO (“FinImpulse”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By participating in the referral program, you agree to the terms set forth in this Policy, as well as the FinImpulse Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility
The referral program is available to all registered FinImpulse users. Participation is voluntary.
2. Referral Code
Upon registration, each user is automatically assigned a unique referral code. This code may be shared with prospective users via a referral link.
When a new user registers using another user’s referral code, a permanent referral relationship is established between the two accounts. This association is one-time and cannot be modified after registration.
A user may not apply their own referral code during registration. Referral codes that do not correspond to an existing account are disregarded, and registration proceeds without any referral association.
3. Benefits for the Referred User
A user who registers with a valid referral code receives the following one-time welcome benefits:
- A 10% discount on the first Dashboard subscription payment.
- A 10% bonus on the first API balance top-up. The bonus is credited to the user’s API balance in addition to the deposited amount.
Each benefit is independent. The Dashboard discount and the API top-up bonus are applied separately and do not affect one another. Each benefit is consumed upon its first use and is not renewable.
4. Bonus Points for the Referring User
When a referred user completes a successful payment, the referring user automatically receives bonus points — known as Impulses. For the purposes of this Policy, a successful payment means a confirmed card transaction processed through Stripe or FastSpring. Trial periods and promotional discounts do not constitute successful payments and do not generate Impulses. Chargebacks, full refunds, and partial refunds may result in a reduction or reversal of previously awarded Impulses.
Impulses are awarded at a rate of 10% of the payment amount, at a rate of 1 Impulse = $0.01 (100 Impulses = $1). Impulses are credited automatically upon payment confirmation and are recorded in the user’s transaction history.
4.1. Minimum Threshold
Impulses may only be redeemed once the account balance reaches a minimum of 2,000 Impulses, equivalent to $20. Redemption is not available while the balance remains below this threshold.
4.2. Redeeming Impulses
Once the minimum threshold is met, Impulses may be redeemed in one of two ways:
- Plan purchase: Impulses may be used to obtain a subscription plan where point-based redemption is available. The Impulse price of a plan equals its dollar price multiplied by 100. This option is not available to users with an active paid subscription.
- API credits: Impulses may be converted into API usage credits at a rate of 100 Impulses = $1 of API account balance. Any Impulses that do not constitute a whole credit remain on the balance and are not converted.
4.3. Refunds and Reversals
If a referred user’s payment is subsequently refunded, the Impulses awarded in connection with that payment will be deducted from the referring user’s balance. If the available balance is insufficient to cover the full reversal, the balance will not fall below zero; however, the full reversal amount will be recorded in the transaction history.
FinImpulse reserves the right to cancel rewards, API credits, or subscription benefits obtained through Impulses that were later reversed due to refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes.
4.4. Account Closure
In the event of account closure, suspension, or termination, any remaining Impulses are forfeited. Impulses hold no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or refunded upon account closure.
5. Prohibited Activity
Users may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining referral benefits. FinImpulse reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or cancel rewards obtained through fraudulent, abusive, or self-referral activity.
6. Changes to the Program
FinImpulse reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program, or any part thereof, at any time and at its sole discretion. Changes to this Policy will be effective upon posting. Continued participation in the referral program following any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
